The GMC provide services to both the Doctors and Patients.

The GMC helps Doctors maintain a good standard of practice and care for their patients. They regulate and provide certificate of good standards to members ensuring the Patient recieve the best standards of care available.

The GMC also helps patients by ensuring proper standards in medicine are kept.

British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (BAPRAS)

The Association was founded in 1946 as the British Association of Plastic Surgeons with the objects of relieving sickness and protecting and preserving Public Health by the promotion and development of Plastic Surgery. The aim of the Association is to advance education in all aspects of Plastic Surgery.

The Association holds scientific meetings, runs training courses, awards scholarships and grants and owns the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (JPRAS) - formerly British Journal of Plastic Surgery.

American Society of Plastic Surgery

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. Founded in l93l, the society is composed of board-certified plastic surgeons who perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

The mission of ASPS is to advance quality care to plastic surgery patients by encouraging high standards of training, ethics, physician practice and research in plastic surgery.
