Macrolane is an injectable product with HA (Hyaluronic acid) which is entirely natural and produced in a laboratory under controlled conditions. It is exactly the same product as the commonly known injectable agents such as Restylane, but differs in that the size of the particles are larger. It is therefore of use in enlarging larger body areas such as breasts, buttocks and calves.
In breast enlargement cases, an average increase in cup size of 1-1.5x is achievable and is recommended for small breastsof A-B cup size The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic, takes approximately 45 minutes and is an office procedure . Side-effects are minimal and include some short lived redness, and tenderness.
Breast increase in size is immediate, and lasts for up to 14 months. It may need to be repeated at that stage if requested.
