Breasts for each person are different and the end look are influenced
by genetics. As a person, get older the breasts develop and because of
reasons of the female body, they can change shape at different points
in time.
• Situations affecting this are brought about by pregnancy and
the subsequent breast feeding of your children.
• Growing older affects the breast causing them to droop gradually
over time.
It is important to remember that everyone is different and although it
is difficult not to draw comparisons between two people it should
be avoided as their circumstances could differ greatly.

Breast enlargement procedures are performed by putting a breast implant
beneath the breast tissue or behind the breast muscle. What influences
this decision is governed, by the availability of breast tissue and whether
drooping, is present at all in that area.
Cuts are placed to the inframammary fold into which the implant is placed.
Sometimes cuts are made below the areola or under the arm pit area. Due
to the risk of infection we try not to use the incision below the arm
pit but the cuts are much less noticeable.
Breast Implants are manufactured from silicone and are usually round
in shape or shaped very much like a breast. Both can provide great results.
When you attend a consultation at the Newcastle breast enlargement clinic
we will speak in greater depth about both techniques.

Problems
Leakage rarely happens, although can occur after a major trauma such
as a collision in a car. Even should this happen the leakage is usually
held within the fibrous capsule that forms around the implant preventing
the spread of the fluid into the body.
Scar tissue can occasionally become hard and thick but is rare, normally
found in about 5% of patients. It will normally appear approximately
6 months after the operation. This can lead to pain experienced
in the breast area and can sometimes require further treatment
and occasionally, removal of the breast implant.

A breast which hosts an implant will not always feel like a breast. Patients
who have undergone the surgery are aware that they have an implant in
the breast as it does feel a little different to a natural breast.
Skin and Nipples can offer a different sensation to touch after the breast
enlargement procedure. Size and shape can sometimes evolve naturally over
time after the enlargement procedure and in many cases can not be predicted.
Breast cleavage is sometimes not possible due to the weight of the implant
and particularly in the saline filled implants; movement of the fluid
can sometimes be seen through the skin covering the breast.
No
scar breast enlargement
If you are looking for a no scar breast enlargement, this is a possibility
so long as the implants are inserted through the tummy as part of an abdominoplasty
procedure. These leave no markings or scars any where on the outer surface
of the body.
Complications are minimal but include the normal associated risks involved
with any surgery, from reaction to the anaesthetic, infection and blood
loss. Infection can usually be treated with antibiotics.
Could living in a specific area, such as Newcastle affect
my access to a breast enlargement procedure?
Absolutely not, breast enlargement is a procedure available throughout
the North East in Newcastle particularly at the clinics attended by Mr
Matt Erdmann.
Do more people seek breast enlargement operations
in different areas.
Breast enlargement is not something that the NHS will automatically
provide in fact, it is probably unlikely to be NHS funded unless
the person seeking the procedure is suffering psychological problems.
As breast enlargement is probably to be privately funded and therefore
mainly accessible to those who are able to meet the costs of the
procedure. So although the cost of breast enlargement doesn't
vary too much in the North East this wont have any impact on accessibility
to obtain to the procedure except through natural affordability
and individual suitability.
